CSC Signs Strategic IT Alliance Agreement with KT

Alliance to Provide Managed IT Services

SEOUL, Korea, November 4, 2008 - CSC (NYSE: CSC), a leading global information technology (IT) services firm, announced today that it has signed an alliance agreement with KT Corporation (NYSE: KTC), the leading Korea telecommunications and networking services provider. The companies will collaborate on marketing and delivering a managed services offering called Total Corporate Data Centre (CDC) Outsourcing Service in South Korea.

The offering includes IT consulting, network services, systems integration and applications development and maintenance. By combining their individual areas of expertise, the companies can help lower clients’ total operating costs while increasing the scalability and efficiency of their business operations. The alliance also enhances CSC and KT’s value proposition in the IT services market.

“The IT outsourcing market in Korea has a short history and lack of technology in comparison with the global IT environment,” said Young Hwan Kim, KT executive vice president and head of Business Group. “By collaborating with CSC, which has a long and successful track record in IT outsourcing services worldwide, KT plans to provide customers with services that enhance customer value and offer lasting intrinsic business benefits.”

“This alliance strengthens CSC’s position as a leader in IT services across Asia and opens previously untapped new markets in South Korea,” said Mike Shove, president of CSC’s Asia Group. “We look forward to working with KT in an alliance that offers significant opportunity to both organizations.”
